Refund and Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for paid Karb AI subscriptions purchased directly from us.
Karb AI is designed primarily for business users. This policy is written primarily for business customers. Nothing in this policy limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
1. Subscriptions and Billing
Karb AI subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If a free trial applies, billing starts when the free trial ends and the paid subscription begins.
Pricing for self serve plans is shown at checkout or on our pricing page at the time of purchase.
Enterprise, annual, custom, or negotiated plans may be subject to separate order forms, commercial terms, or minimum commitments.
2. Free Trials
We may offer free trials for certain plans. Trial length may vary depending on the plan, promotion, or commercial arrangement.
If a free trial is offered and you provide a payment method, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the applicable trial period unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Once the paid subscription begins, you will be charged in advance for the applicable billing period.
The length of your free trial, if any, will be shown at sign up, checkout, or otherwise confirmed by us in writing.
3. How to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Karb AI billing settings or the billing portal made available to you.
If you are unable to access the billing portal, you can contact us at support@karb.ai for assistance.
Unless otherwise stated in a separate agreement, cancellation stops future renewal charges only. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
4. Effect of Cancellation
If you cancel during a free trial, you will not be charged, provided cancellation is completed before the trial ends.
If you cancel a paid subscription, your access will usually continue until the end of the current billing period.
Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise, we do not provide prorated or partial refunds for unused time in an active billing period.
5. Refund Policy
Except where required by law, expressly stated otherwise, or agreed in writing, subscription fees are non refundable once charged.
We may, at our discretion, issue a full or partial refund in limited cases such as a duplicate charge, an incorrect charge caused by a billing or technical error, a charge made after a valid cancellation, a verified unauthorised charge, or a material failure to provide the paid service due to a confirmed platform issue.
Enterprise, annual, custom, setup, onboarding, implementation, usage based, and other non standard commercial arrangements may be non refundable unless your order form or separate agreement states otherwise.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email support@karb.ai and include your Karb AI account email address, the plan name if known, the date and amount charged, and a short explanation of the issue.
Please contact us promptly after the charge so we can investigate quickly.
7. How Refunds Are Processed
If a refund is approved, it will normally be returned to the original payment method used for the purchase, where possible.
After a refund is processed, the time it takes to appear in your account depends on your payment provider or bank.
8. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you believe there is a billing issue, please contact us first at support@karb.ai so we can try to resolve it quickly.
If you open a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer, the matter may need to be handled through that dispute process.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund and Cancellation Policy from time to time. Any updated version will be posted on this page with the revised effective date.
